How to survive a kidnapping? This is one of the important tasks at hand that a royal celebrity must face. With daily reminders in the news that these situations do indeed happen, it’s best to be prepared and that’s exactly what Kate Middleton is doing. Also on the to-do list? Learning how to communicate in a hostage situation.
Staying as safe as can be, Kate Middleton is using SAS training to ward off any potential kidnappers.

According to a source of The Sun, the Duchess of Cambridge – who became ever-so-popular since her recent wedding to Prince William – needed the special secretive insight to gain crucial survival skills, as well as learn how to communicate in a hostage situation.
“The Palace want to ensure Kate’s new status doesn’t make her vulnerable to attack,” a source is quoted as saying. “She has been well trained in what to do should the unthinkable happen,” the insider told the British newspaper.

They added that the training, which William underwent at the age of 16, “teaches how to cope both mentally and physically” when faced with that life-threatening scenario.
So what exactly will Kate Middleton be learning during her training?
For starters, she will be taught how to keep an eye out for and recognize any unusual behaviour, and if need be, how to react to attacks. Trainees also learn about ways to build a relationship with their captor and how to pass on coded messages for help.
The course is usually taught by SAS, personal protection or MI5 officers.
